Cetoswap liquidity
Updated -
Liquidity provider (LP) tokens record a provider’s position in CetoSwap liquidity pools on Manta. The pools hold paired assets for swaps, while the receipt represents the deposited liquidity for withdrawal.
- Network
- Manta.
- Liquidity pairs
- Two cryptoassets per trading pair in CetoSwap’s liquidity-providing model.
- Provider compensation
- A share of exchange fees from trades that use pooled liquidity.
What does an LP token represent?
The LP token is the accounting receipt; the underlying assets sit in the liquidity pool’s smart contract. Its balance counts receipt units, which are different from units of either deposited asset.
CETO is the ecosystem’s emissions token, while a CETO/ETH LP token represents the paired liquidity position. CetoSwap’s farming explanation describes receipt tokens as supporting withdrawals and the collection of outstanding rewards.

How do trading fees differ from farming rewards?
Trading fees arise from swaps that use pooled liquidity, and liquidity providers receive a percentage of those fees. Yield farming involves depositing or staking cryptoassets for rewards that a smart contract tracks.
